Brian Shea is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction clients’ needs. His role includes leading teams to deliver exceptional service, collaborating with clients to design tailored insurance solutions and programs, and actively engaging with our insurance carrier partners to secure the coverage our clients require. Brian also ensures that our team consistently meets the highest standards across all service areas.
Background
Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, Brian served as the Resident Managing Director for Aon’s Construction & Infrastructure practice, first for the New York region and subsequently for the Northeast region, from 2018 through 2025. Before his tenure at Aon, Brian was Senior Vice President at Arch Insurance Group, where he led Arch’s construction casualty underwriting nationally.

Responsibilities
Edward Cooney’s clients fall within the spectrum of Public Entities, consisting of local government, state government, quasi-governmental entities, schools and special districts. In addition to his primary client service responsibilities, Edward is leader of the firm’s Public Entity Practice and Cyber Practice. Both practices are insurance and risk management think-tanks focused on trending issues in the spaces, including Large and Complex Property, Casualty Towers, Public Officials Liability, Employment Practices and Privacy & Security (Cyber).
Background
Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew’s Public Entity team in 2016, Edward was dedicated to account management within the Life Science & Technology Practice for six years. In such role, Edward focused on complex Property and Products Liability issues for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other life science organizations, as well as Products and Professional Liability issues for technology organizations.
Before working for Conner Strong & Buckelew, Edward interned with the firm and other insurance brokerages. Rounding out his work experience, Edward was the team leader in the Executive-in-Residence Program at St. John’s University as a graduate student. The program placed students in a business consulting role for actual business and non-profit organizations with the purpose of developing strategic objectives and plans for the organizations.

Responsibilities
Tayler Lindeman develops and implements strategic risk management solutions tailored to each client’s unique business needs. She brings expertise in marketing, program design, and the coordination of services. In her role, she oversees the service team on daily client matters and manages the negotiation and implementation of Property, Casualty, and ancillary liability insurance programs.
Tayler also leads the firm’s Financial Institutions and Professional Services Practice Group.
Background
Tayler began her career with Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2008 as an intern in the Employee Benefits Department. While completing her college education, she gained additional experience working part-time in the Property & Casualty Claims Department.
Following graduation, Tayler joined the firm full-time in the Property & Casualty Department as an Account Analyst. She has since progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in her current role as Managing Account Executive. Throughout her career, Tayler has developed a deep understanding of complex risk management programs and a strong commitment to client service excellence.

Responsibilities
William (Bill) Rennie is responsible for meeting the risk management and insurance needs of his commercial accounts. Specifically, this includes program design strategy, negotiation, and coverage analysis of property and casualty insurance programs for large public and private sector clients. In addition, he is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day services provided and helps coordinate additional services provided by Conner Strong’s Risk Control and Claims teams. His portfolio of accounts span a range of industries with a heavy focus on construction, real estate/development, and public entity (specifically complex property) clients. Rennie is also an active member of Conner Strong & Buckelew’s Construction Practice Group.
Background
Rennie joined Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2010. He originally joined the firm as a Major Accounts Intern and upon graduation returned as an Account Analyst. He then worked his way to the Account Manager position and eventually to the Account Executive position. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, he held internship positions at Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company in St. Louis, MO and B. Braun Medical in Bethlehem, PA.
