Responsibilities
Justin Ackerman is responsible for overseeing Property and Casualty sales efforts and he specializes in designing comprehensive risk management programs for commercial clients of all types and across all industries. Areas of focus include Real Estate, Development, Construction, Manufacturing, Social Service, and Food Processing.
Background
Ackerman began his career with Conner Strong & Buckelew in 2004 when he joined the account placement team and assisted with the marketing of new and renewal business for Major Accounts. Following this role, he briefly spent time as an Account Manager before being promoted to a Business Development Associate in 2006. In 2012 Ackerman was promoted to Vice President of Major Accounts and was again promoted to Senior Vice President in 2018. Ackerman’s consultative approach provides an opportunity for him to become completely familiar with his clients’ operations. This enables him to identify potential coverage gaps within their risk management program that can be devastating to an organization if left uncorrected.

Community Involvement
Ackerman is involved in the local community. He is Vice President of the Crossroads Programs, member of the Union League of Philadelphia, contributor to The Boys & Girls Club of Southern NJ, and a past member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ. Ackerman is also an active member of numerous professional organizations including NJ Affordable Housing Association, PA/ DE Affordable Housing Association, Apartment Association of Philadelphia, PA Non-Profit Homes for the Aging, Building Owners & Managers Association of Philadelphia, Institute of Real Estate Management and South Jersey’s Rainmakers Investment & Networking Club.
