Latest Employer Survey Results Related to COVID-19 Response

The American Benefits Council (ABC) has issued a comprehensive report based on employer plans and actions taken in the health and benefit space as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The ABC is a Washington D.C.-based employee benefits public policy organization that advocates for employers in the area of health and retirement policy at the federal level. They are among the most respected organizations in the nation advancing smart policy for employer based plans. They led the charge around the repeal of the Cadillac Tax for example and their members include among the most prestigious employers in the US. Conner Strong & Buckelew is a member and uses the ABC’s data in supporting clients.

In a recent survey, the ABC polled major employers around their actions taken (and planned to be taken) related to COVID-19. Some 139 major employers responded. The survey covered the following areas and offers insight around what employers are doing related to:

  • Health Plans
  • Retirement Plans
  • Tele-Work
  • Paid Leave
  • Back to work plans
