What do you do before work?

I get up at 6:30 AM, turn on the news, make coffee, wake up both of my daughters and make them breakfast. Then I make our lunches and get ready for the day. I only live 15 minutes from the office so I don’t have a long commute.

What does your morning typically entail?

The first thing I do every morning is check my email to make sure nothing is urgent. Then I check my calendar to plan out the rest of my day.

What do you do for lunch?

Most days I pack lunch and eat with my team in our lunchroom here. Sometimes we order lunch or we go out with carriers.

What does your afternoon typically entail?

I work on my tasks in priority order. High on the list is gathering information for renewal submissions and working on presentations for pre-renewal or proposal meetings.

What do you do after work?

I am very lucky because my husband makes dinner every night, as he gets home before I do. We always try and have dinner together as a family, which can be challenging because of my teenager’s schedule. I enjoy getting together with our family and friends on weekends. I also love to travel.

Of the day you just described, what task/accomplishment makes you the proudest?

I really do like my job and I love how all the people at Conner Strong & Buckelew are more like family than co-workers. Completion of projects and quickly being able to help a client with an urgent request makes me feel accomplished.
