Partner, Senior Consultant, National & Major Accounts

How do you describe your job to someone you’ve just met?

I help employers manage their employee benefit programs to make sure they provide competitive benefits to help with recruitment and retainment of their human capital and are financially sustainable for the organization.

What’s your morning ritual?

The two “C”’s – coffee and calendar review. However, this will change when we move to our new office in Camden – then my morning ritual will be morning workout at our onsite gym followed by coffee and calendar review.

What is the first thing you complete each morning?

I think about client’s needs and what has to be addressed that day.

What types of tasks do you tackle in the first part of your day?

Meetings, phone calls addressing urgent business issues of clients and talking to team members about our accounts.

What do you do for lunch?

I take a mental break from the day. Touch base with family and friends to see what is going on with them and look at the news feeds to see what is happening in the world.

What does your afternoon typically entail?

More meetings, phone calls and emails. My goal every day is to make sure we delivered value to our clients.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Keep up with my twin’s lives in their first year of college at Penn State University and Washington & Lee University. I love watching them navigate these new challenges and establish new relationships – just wish I could go back to school with them like Rodney Dangerfield did in the movies.

Of the day you just described, what task/accomplishment makes you the proudest?

Knowing that at the end of each day, I’m prepared to come back the next day and achieve even greater things for our clients.
