California’s New Workplace Violence Prevention Laws

California’s Restraining Orders and Workplace Violence Prevention Plan Law goes into effect July 1, 2024. To comply with the new law, California employers must have a workplace prevention plan, a mandatory employee training program and a mechanism for recording workplace violence incidents in place by the effective date.
