Responsibilities
Stella Carto is responsible for advising clients on all aspects of their employee benefits plans, acting as both an account manager and a strategic business planner. Carto is also responsible for analyzing and designing complex health and welfare strategies. In addition, she handles the presentation of renewals, regulatory requirements, alternative funding projections, and financial analysis for clients.
Background
Carto has an extensive background of nearly 20 years in employee benefits. She has in-depth experience with middle market and large employers in both public and private sectors on benefit plan design, funding and financial analysis, compliance oversight, and vendor management. Prior to returning to Conner Strong & Buckelew, Carto was a Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher. Previously, she had been a team member of Conner Strong & Buckelew for almost a decade serving in various benefit consulting and administrative positions. Stella began her employee benefits career with Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) and has extensive experience in human resources administration. Carto is a member of the PENJERDEL Employee Benefits & Compensation Association (PEBA) and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans (IFEBP).
