Joseph Hrubash serves as an Account Executive for both public and private schools in the Education Practice for Conner Strong & Buckelew. He oversees management of account services for accounts located in both Central and North Jersey and Connecticut. Hrubash also has responsibilities as Underwriting Manager of a New Jersey Municipal Joint Insurance Fund, the largest municipal pool in the state and third largest in the country. He is responsible for marketing, negotiating and placing excess insurance and reinsurance, as well as the placement of a $9 billion property for 460 municipalities, counties and school boards statewide.
Hrubash has 36 years of experience in the insurance industry, seven of which have been spent as a Risk Manager and the more recent 29 years as an Insurance Broker specializing in Public Entity Account Management. Prior to joining Conner Strong & Buckelew, Hrubash worked for Willis Corron, where he served as an Account Executive responsible for Public Entity Accounts and a variety of Commercial Lines Accounts. Before this, he spent a couple years with First National Bank where he served as Risk Manager responsible for managing the Property & Casualty insurance program for the corporation.
