You are invited to join us for our seventh installment in an ongoing series of webinars on key issues dealing with national healthcare reform.

Healthcare reform established new reporting requirements for employer-provided healthcare coverage on Form W-2. The reporting requirement generally applies beginning with the 2012 Forms W-2 due in early 2013. Employers will need to begin identifying coverages they offer that are subject to reporting. Once the applicable coverages are identified, employers will need to determine the total cost for each employee for the year, track coverage by employee, and capture other needed data. Please join Conner Strong & Buckelew's Compliance and Audit practice for a webinar presentation on the newly released guidance on this W-2 reporting requirement. We'll review what employers need to know about the requirement including:

  • Which employers need to report the benefits on Form W-2
  • When affected employers must comply and what special rules apply
  • What transition relief is available for certain employers, plans and situations
  • What health coverage must be reported
  • How to report the benefits on the Form W-2
  • What are the methods for calculating the cost of coverage
  • What are the penalties for noncompliance with the reporting obligation
