Harry Johnson is a Managing Director and Senior Vice President in the Major Accounts Division and serves as the Construction Practice Leader for Conner Strong & Buckelew. In this capacity, Johnson’s primary responsibility is the overall management of our construction clients’ risk management, contract surety, Subguard and insurance needs including Controlled Insured Programs (CIP) from both an Owners (OCIP) and Contractors (CCIP) perspective. In this role, Johnson assists in the design, marketing and implementation of a CIP and is responsible for the every day servicing of the program including account management, claims management and safety services.
Johnson also directs account services for Conner Strong & Buckelew's large and strategic business relationships. In this role, he brings a wealth of experience and a wide array of strategic and tactical insurance and risk management solutions for our large account customers.
Johnson has more than 35 years of Major Account experience with a primary emphasis in the construction industry. In addition to providing risk management services to large commercial clients, he has extensive experience in the design, implementation and day-to-day management of Controlled Insurance Programs including most recently, Tishman Construction Corporation, Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. and Torcon, Incorporated’s Rolling CCIP, Princeton Health System, Inc., Bayhealth, Inc., South Jersey Port Corporation, Brandywine Realty Trust and Robert Wood Johnson Owner Controlled Insurance Programs.
