Responsibilities
Deborah Watson oversees both the Human Resources and Training & Career Development departments of Conner Strong Companies, Inc. She is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of human resources services, policies and programs for the company which include recruiting and staffing, performance management, organization development, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration and employee training and development.
Background
Prior to joining Conner Strong, Watson had spent 10 years with UPS, Inc. where she served in numerous capacities. Most recently, she was the Employee Relations and Workforce Planning Manager where she managed a staff of six and had responsibilities that included performance management and salary administration, AAP and EEO, internal staffing, employee retention programs, training and development, workers compensation and disability, benefits administration, 401K and HRIS maintenance. Watson has over 16 years of management experience with UPS and has held other positions in human resources, operations, sales and customer service.
